Spareribs to die for

One great hit at our family get togethers is meaty pork
spareribs.  They are great for holiday cookouts or any
time for that matter.

I buy enough ribs for each person to have about a 16 oz.
portion.  Some eat less and some eat more so this averages
out pretty well.  First I will put them on the propane grill
on high and sear them on all sides to seal in the flavor.  This
usually takes about 15-20 minutes.  They will look like they
are cooked on the outside.  Next I put them in a 2″ deep
glass pyrex dish and bast them with BBQ sauce.  Flavor
can be your choice.  Now you want to cover them with tin
foil.  I usually take a couple of pieces of tin foil, fold them
together so my piece fits over the pan nicely.  Now I put
the dish or dishes in the oven and set the temp at 250
degrees and slow cook them for about 2 & 1/2 hours.

You will probably have rave reviews about your spareribs
to die for so you may want to print up your recipe so you
just hand it out.  You ar sure to make a big hit with every-
one of your family or guests.

Of course any standard fare for a BBQ goes perfectly with
these ribs, such as baked beans, potatoe salad, and or
coleslaw.  Also, they are great if you have some left over
to warm up at another meal.  I am sure your friends and
family will enjoy this recipe for spareribs to die for as much
as we have.  Happy eating!
